Neil Armingeon, your St. Johns Riverkeeper, was recently awarded the Christi P. Veleta Environmental Award by the Jacksonville Environmental Protection Board (EPB). The EPB presents this prominent award “to highlight and acknowledge an individual who has exhibited, over a long-term, environmental consciousness, displayed superior environmental initiative, and consistently promoted environmental education and outreach.” 

Earlier this year, Neil received the Mayor's Award for Environmental Achievement from former mayor John Peyton.  Click here to read more.
