Come aboard the Water Taxi & become a part of The City on the River. Enjoy the outdoors, learn about local history & ecology, and have fun with hands-on activities!
Location: Depart from The Friendship Fountain
What to Bring: Camera, binoculars, & a positive attitude; Light snacks & water provided (leave toys & video games at home, please)
Attire: Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing

New View Mural Project - The Many Faces of the St. Johns River
March 5 - October 31
Sponsored by The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens. Community partners include St. Johns Riverkeeper, MOSH, Jacksonville Public Library,Ritz-Lavilla Museum, and Jaxport. Artist Sarah Crooks Flaire assisted students at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in the creation of a mural of the St. Johns River that will travel to various venues in 2008. Exciting river-related lectures, presentations, performances, and activities will accompany the exhibit at each venue. -
