Manatees
If you see a manatee, you can report it to the Jacksonville University Manatee Hotline:
(904) 256-7575

Please, leave the following information:
1) your name
2) your contact telephone number
3) the number of manatees you observed
4) what the manatees were doing (resting, feeding, traveling or mating) etc.
5) the location of the manatees (street/block address preferable if on land
near the water)
6) the time and date of the manatee sighting

It seems like a lot of information but it is very important because we want
to know not just where we are observing manatees from the air but also where
our citizens are seeing them too.
