We have a winner!
The drawing to win the framed original painting, "Our River of Life," by Henry Von Genk III was held on November 18th at the Oyster Roast, and we have a winner....

Once again, we are grateful to Henry for his generous donation and for his participation as the featured artist of our 2011 Oyster Roast.
Even if you didn't win the raffle, you can still purchase a giclee of this stunning painting. Henry is offering 25 limited edition giclees on canvas of "Our River of Life" that are available through Stellers Gallery at Ponte Vedra Beach. Contact Stellers Gallery for more information about purchasing a giclee. A portion of the proceeds will benefit St. Johns Riverkeeper.
About the Artist
Henry Von Genk, III was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida and resides with his family in Atlantic Beach. Henry has been an accomplished artist for twenty-four years.
His love for Florida’s waterways and salt marshes of the Southeast coastline is evident in all his paintings.
Henry was invited by a jury to be one of the artists for the Southeastern Wildlife Expo in Charleston S.C. 2009, 2010, 2011 and now for the upcoming 2012 show. His works are owned by private collectors across the country, as well as internationally, and include many well-known celebrities and major corporations.
Henry made four trips to the Deland area to find the perfect St. Johns River location for his painting, "Our River of Life." He finally chose an area near Hontoon Island in Volusia County. Henry worked on this masterpiece for several months in the spring, and completed the painting in early June.
