Join our team of site captain clean up leaders! 

We host cleanups throughout the St. Johns River watershed year round. We need volunteers to help scout for new cleanup sites or become a clean up site captain. 

Visit our Events  page for upcoming cleanups.

What's involved? 

Scouting for cleanup sites:

  • Record site location (address or GPS Coordinates)
  • Take photographs
  • Record amount of trash, facilities available, accessibility.
  • Upload all information into clean up site map

Leading a cleanup:

If you are a business or organization interested in hosting a community/volunteer service day with your employees there are various ways to get involved. 

If interested in partnering on a cleanup email megan@stjohnsriverkeeper.org with these details:

  • Tentative dates
  • Number of people in group
  • Preferred location/region
