LATEST NEWS!  Join clean water advocates from around the state at the Clean Water Rally in Tally on Tuesday, February 18th!

From North Florida’s renowned freshwater springs and the St. Johns to South Florida’s Everglades and coral reefs, our state is blessed with countless watery wonders.  Unfortunately, many of these waterways are in serious decline – choked by pollution and toxic algae or drying up due to over-consumption of groundwater.

The Floridians’ Clean Water Declaration is a positive campaign with the goal of establishing a new water ethic, finding solutions to Florida’s water quality and quantity problems and sending a clear message to our water managers and elected officials that the people of Florida demand clean water.

The Floridians’ Clean Water Declaration Campaign is a collaborative effort driven by dozens of civic and environmental organizations and concerned citizens from around the state. We are coming together to create a force for change – a change in the water policies of the state of Florida. By sharing ideas and resources across stakeholder lines and watersheds, we will be stronger – stronger together to fight for our right to clean water.

The Floridian’s Clean Water Declaration is the “bottom line” for protecting Florida’s waters, wildlife and the health and livelihoods of Floridians. Together, we can demonstrate a commitment from all Floridians – individuals, businesses, organizations, and elected officials – for action to ensure clean water by gathering as many signatures as possible.

Do you want clean water to drink? Do you want to support the many businesses that depend on clean water? Then join us and sign the Declaration!  Also, please ask your friends, family, colleagues and elected representatives to sign.  If you are a member of a civic, business, or environmental organization, ask them to sign on, as well.
