Paddle the St. Johns River Estuary

May 22, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Paddle the St. Johns River Estuary

Get Your Feet Wet LogoPaddle with a guide through Fort George and the Simpson Creek estuary, a series of tributaries that wind through the salt marsh creating what looks like the arteries of the land. The water twists and turns creating intimate canals for the resident wading birds, fishing osprey, and provides protection for newly hatched fingerlings. The estuary is a fascinating environment, the lifeblood of the ocean, and the nursery ground for many species.

Funds raised by Kayak Amelia from this tour will benefit St Johns Riverkeeper.
