Exploring Our River’s Macroinvertebrates for Kids

August 3 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Join Clay County Parks Naturalist Liza McCain for some pre-back-to-school science fun at Camp Chowenwaw.
We will be dipping our nets into the waterGet Your Feet Wet Logo and exploring some of the unique macroinvertebrates (small pond critters) that call the St. Johns River home. These creatures are vital to the health of the river and the waters around it. Everyone will get a chance to participate in the exploration.

This experience is geared toward Elementary School aged kiddos 2nd grade and up. However, anyone of any age is welcome to join in!
